Paperbark® Colour Tips

General

Paperbark® is a warm, neutral colour, sympathetic to the different landscapes of Australia.

Paperbark® can reinforce a colour scheme by unifying and balancing the varying finishes and colours associated with a house or commercial building due to its neutrality.

Corrugated roofing and walling in Paperbark® also balances many landscape and garden elements.

Pale 'greyed off' stones, pebbles, gravels and paving stones are balanced by Paperbark® with the deep emerald greens, pale limes, soft eucalypts and the blue green hues of our flora.

It is a conservative, safe colour and therefore has wide appeal across Australia.

Housing Type

Paperbark®'s subtle nature complements many housing styles in either city, coastal and rural environments in all states of Australia.

It is the neutrality of this colour which promotes its continued popularity for both residential and commercial projects. It is one of the ‘tried and true’ colours in the COLORBOND® steel colour palette.

Product Application

Paperbark® is specified as corrugated roofing and walling, garage doors, garage and carport roofing and walling, garden sheds and outbuildings and as a fencing colour for a wide range of residential dwellings. It is also specified for composite housing styles where a subtle outcome is desired.

Commercially, the colour is specified by architects and designers for a broad spectrum of building types and it enhances the form and lines of a building as well as complementing and coordinating with other building finishes, colours and products.

Environment

Being a warm, neutral colour Paperbark® is specified and used for a range of environments whether city, bush, coastal or suburban, across all states.

Blending with sandy beach environments, inner city spaces and suburban landscapes with a conservative colour palette of soft creams, beige, ochre and stone colours this colour is extremely versatile.

Geography/Location

A popular colour throughout Australia, particularly in Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
